Laptop can't see modem

I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Xp, now I have no sound and the modem is no longer installed. How do I found out what modem I have and get drivers for it....

Various Issues

All of a sudden, my Dell Inspiron 1501 did not permit me to view any videos i.e. you tube and does not even let me log into msn messenger, gmail or hotmail! I have tried through this site and many other to download the adobe flash player but my laptop does not let me install it and didn't even open the page to fix the problem from this site. I cannot fine to the internet but am at loss of what to do in fixing this problem. I haven't left my e-mail gmail account because I cannot access it! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

i need to do a system restore on my 1501 but i am unable do i need a recovery disk if so where can i get one from thanks

dell inspiron 1501, unable to boot any form of the os ie safe mode. it runs a full diagnostic and everything passes....

wireless connection

can't get wireless connection..if hook directly to ethernet cord works and after unplugging cord for about 2 minutes...shows it can't find network..know wireless router is worker on account of second laptop i have working fine?...
